Regardless, summer vacation is over and with it, hopefully, my bit of a writing slump. I apologize for abandoning you all for awhile, but I should be back on a real writing schedule soon. If muses cooperate and all that.
Also, after a year of hearing about it...
...I finally got to see the Doyle revival of Sweeney Todd.
I may have to squee now.

There are so many... subtle things about it that really didn't hit me until a few days after I'd seen it for the first time. I was truly floored by it - and didn't expect to be AT ALL because I was such a traditionalist. Nothing will ever be better than the original that I first fell in love with, but damn, if this revival isn't a piece of genius I don't know what is.
