Title: Jecht Shot
Fandom: FFX
Rating: G
Prompt: That boy's about as smart as a bag of hammers.
A/N: Drabble. Maybe a warmup for the requests I've yet to fill. That, and the prompt immediately made me think of Tidus.
The former monk resisted the urge to groan. The apartment he’d rented boasted a view over the bay and, more importantly, a view of Jecht’s houseboat. Once the boy had made it clear that Auron’s presence was unneeded if not outright unwelcome, he had withdrawn so that most of his observation and help was accomplished from afar.
Auron wondered sometimes: could he really do anything for this boy, desperate for the approval of a father he’d probably never see again?
As he watched Tidus fall on his head for the fifteenth time in a row, the answer came: probably not.
